Re-Coded

SFPC @ Day For Night 2015

The School for Poetic Computation was invited to do an installation by the inagural year of Houston’s Day for Night festival. We chose to highlight the complex and yet elegant relationship between code and visual art. By re-coding the works of prominent media artists, we explored and then put on display the behind-the-scenes of computer art.

Viewers were invited to take a deeper look at what’s behind the scenes of media art, and to leave with a sense of possibility: both art and programming are within reach.
